New Onboarding Webinar for Staff and Board Members!

The Office of Economic Opportunity has created a new onboarding tool for our Community Action Agencies. This course contains several modules covering everything from the history of community action to an overview of how agencies serve communities today. Each module features a knowledge check and there is a certificate once completed.

Training Opportunities/Upcoming Events

VACAP Legislative Conference (February 2-4, Richmond) - Join your community action colleagues to meet the newly elected Governor's Administration. The conference also features an Energy/Wx Symposium, sessions on Whole Family Approach and CSBG/Housing, and updates on key advocacy issues. The last day will focus on agencies meeting with General Assembly members/staff.

Annual Report 3.0 Transition Network Webinar (January 28, 2-3pm) - The CSBG Annual Report is changing—and now's the time to prepare. The first session in this series will be focused on supporting agencies through the transition to the new CSBG requirements. You'll get an overview of Annual Report 3.0 and provide information on key changes from the current reporting framework and what to expect during the transition process. Register
