Statement from the Director

Happy New Year West Orange!

In 2026 the West Orange Public Library will be celebrating the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and the revolution that created the United States of America. To kick things off we are hosting the exhibition Revolutionary Lives: Living the American Experiment Then and Now which is part of New Jersey’s RevolutionNJ. Stay tuned for more Rev250 and other great programs in 2026 that celebrate the wonderfully diverse fabric that makes us the United States of America. United We Stand.
