As we step into 2026, Bronx Children’s Museum is entering a year defined by momentum, imagination, and community impact. At BxCM, we often say X marks the Bronx and this year, that “X” represents possibility, innovation, and the powerful role our community plays in shaping what’s next.
In the months ahead, we’re focused on expanding access and creating experiences that invite every child and family to be the X factor in their own learning journey. Our plans include opening every Sunday (funding permitting), launching immersive XR and AR digital experiences, introducing a hydroponic plant exhibit centered on sustainability, improving wayfinding in and around the Museum, and expanding early childhood educator-focused programming. We’re also exploring new offerings like birthday parties to create even more joyful moments for families year-round.
None of this happens without you. Your belief in the Museum fuels our ability to dream bigger, reach farther, and ensure that children in the Bronx see themselves reflected in spaces of creativity, learning, and possibility.
