As I enter my second consecutive term as Board Chair, I am excited to see what we accomplish in 2026. I would like to thank the Board of Directors, and the members of the Lisle Area Chamber for their support and trust.
This upcoming year my goal is the grow the Chamber as well as retain current members. The way to do this is through communication. If any Chamber Member would like to talk to me about something they do not like, feel free to reach out to me. You can also contact me if there are things that you like about the Chamber.
As some of you know I have lived in the area for over 30 years, and I have 27-year-old triplets. I have been with The Alera Group for over 35 years selling benefits to companies. We are located in Downers Grove.
As your Chair I look forward to working with our Executive Director and along side my fellow Board of Directors to continue growing the Lisle Area Chamber of Commerce.

As we turn the page to a new year, the Chamber is energized by the opportunities ahead and grateful for the strong foundation our business community has built together over the past twelve months. Each new year brings a renewed sense of purpose, and 2026 is no exception. Our local businesses continue to demonstrate resilience, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to strengthening our community—and we’re proud to support that work every day.
This year, the Chamber is focused on expanding member value, deepening partnerships, and elevating the voices of local businesses. We are excited to introduce new programs designed to foster collaboration, professional development, and economic vitality. From expanded networking events to enhanced business resources and advocacy initiatives, our goal is to ensure every member has the tools they need to thrive.
We also look forward to celebrating the accomplishments of our business community. Whether you’re a longtime Chamber member, a new entrepreneur, or a local leader invested in the region’s future, your contributions make our community strong. Kenetha Cook Edward Jones
Kenetha Cook is a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones, and she is passionate about helping people feel confident and secure about their financial future. She works with individuals, families, and business owners to create personalized strategies that align with their goals, values, and life stages. Her approach is relationship-driven, focused on simplifying financial decisions so clients feel informed, supported, and prepared for what lies ahead.
In her role, she takes the time to truly listen and understand what matters most to each client. She serves as a guide and partner—helping clients navigate retirement planning, investment management, and life transitions with clarity and care. Kenetha believes strong financial plans are built on trust, education, and consistent communication, and she strives to be a steady resource clients can rely on through every season of life.
Outside of her practice, Kenetha is deeply committed to giving back to the community. She is a proud member of the 40+ Double Dutch Club, where she enjoys staying active by jumping in her free time. She also volunteers throughout the Chicagoland area, supporting various community service initiatives, and actively serves at her church, Broadview Missionary Baptist Church. Serving as a Chamber Ambassador allows her to combine her passion for community involvement with her professional mission of helping others build strong, secure futures.

ANNUAL MEETING & HOLIDAY LUNCHEON
On December 4, 2025 the Chamber held their Annual Meeting & Holiday Party at Limitless Dreams Events. The event was catered by Belgio's Catering. At the luncheon, the Chamber's 2025 Board of Directors were thanked for their service and the 2026 Board of Directors were inducted. The Ambassador of the Year award was given to Kahkashan Norat of Lisle Bookkeeping LLC, and the Volunteer of the Year award was given to Debbie Pawlowicz of DPG Real Estate Agency. Board Chair, Tom Reif of The Alera Group spoke about his year as Board Chair of the 2025 Board of Directors and spoke about being the Chair for a second year in 2026. Thank you to our Board of Directors, Volunteer of the Year and Ambassador of the Year for your service to the Chamber and the Community.

Duly Health and Care opened a new destination for high-quality, comprehensive cancer care across the Chicago suburbs, the Brian Moran Cancer Institute. The Institute will bring academic-level cancer care closer to home, offering patients a more connected, personal, and accessible cancer care experience.

Lisle Library District Celebrates 60th Anniversary
Happy 60th Anniversary Lisle Library District. On December 12, 2025 the Lisle Library District held a Diamond Jubilee celebration. The Lisle Library was officially established on December 11, 1965. They have grown over the 60 years to be one of Lisle's crown jewels!
We look forward to another 60 years working with the Lisle Library District.
