The NSTA National Conference is coming to Anaheim April 15–18, bringing science and STEM educators together for four days of learning, collaboration, and fresh classroom inspiration. Attendees will explore practical strategies, new ideas, and shared insights for lifelong learning. Apply soon, limited scholarships are available to cover registration fees.
Project WET is hosting a “Climate Change & California Water” workshop for educators to learn about climate science, its impact on California’s water resources, and ways to help students understand these changes through hands-on activities and expert insights. Registration is $25 and includes meals, the new Foundations of Water Education guide, and a $120 stipend. Taking place in Corte Madera, January 24, 8–4pm PST.
Aerospace invites teachers to Mission to MARS: Arctic, a 40-minute virtual event for middle and high school classrooms exploring what it takes to live on Mars through real-world Arctic analog missions. Teachers must register to participate. January 28, 2026 at 10:00 am PST.

California Water Service is now accepting applications for a 15-month paid apprenticeship program offering hands-on training and pathways to certification and long-term careers in the water and wastewater utility industry. Apply by January 31, 2026.
The National Academy of Engineering's Annual Engineer Girl/ Engineer Teen Writing Contest is accepting submissions for this year's theme, “The Art of Engineering” until Feb. 1, 2026.
UCSF’s Center for Science, Education and Outreach is now accepting applications for the 2026 CURE Research Internship, an 8-week summer program offering high school juniors and City College of San Francisco students hands-on research experience, mentorship in UCSF labs, and exposure to academic and career pathways in health and science. Apply by February 8, 2026.
