Religious Education Newsletter

January 2026

Dear St. Raphael Parish Family,

The joy of Jesus be with you! I pray that the light of Christ is warming your heart in these cold and dark months of winter.  Below is a brief summary and link to each article in the January RE newsletter.  Happy Reading!

  • Note from the Director: I share how our families are called to transform our culture with the truth, beauty and goodness that is a life lived in Christ.

  • Family Outreach: Kathy Baehman challenges families to slow down and take time for God and each other in the midst of overly busy lives.

  • Sunday School: Gwendolyn Noto reviews how children in Sunday School learned that when we trust in the Lord anything is possible.
  • Elementary: Lisa Lynch reflects on the fundamental human need for acceptance and how we as a faith community, are called to share the love and acceptance of Christ with everyone who comes through our doors.

  • Middle School/High School: Katie Klug updates us on what is happening with youth ministry and shares some exciting upcoming opportunities for youth in the summer.

  • InFormed Highlights: Video clips geared toward parents, youth, and children that focus on living the Catholic faith!

Please know our entire RE team is praying for you and your family as we continue to journey together as disciples on the way. If you have any questions regarding Religious Education at St. Raphael, please feel free to contact me (jessie.adrians@raphael.org).  Our Lady of Champion, St. Francis Xavier, and St. Therese of Lisieux pray for us!
