WE are Excited to Announce New WE Co-leaders!

We are excited to announce that Katie Polski (TE Wife Advisor) and Cheryl Mullis (RE Wife Advisor) will be the new co-leaders for the WE on our National Women’s Ministry Team. You can read more (below) about the gifts and experiences that Christ has entrusted to them to steward, as well as their hearts for this vital ministry for our denomination. Over the past few years, WE has gained momentum—over 2,000 women have connected to the people and resources we have sought to provide. Interestingly, the engagement of Ruling and Teaching Elders’ wives is split almost in half, highlighting that even though Ruling and Teaching Elders’ wives may have unique alongside callings and contexts, we are all fundamentally in need of gospel encouragement and equipping. This dynamic duo is poised to steward complementary gifts together in such a way that we believe will strengthen ministry marriages to prayerfully strengthen Christ’s Church. It is my prayer that their partnership in the gospel will model the potential of what might happen in our PCA churches when Teaching and Ruling Elders’ wives link arms to support and serve their own churches.

If you want to stay connected to the new plans and discipleship focus, you can connect to our WE hub here. We also want to encourage you to save the date as we will gather several times this year as wives of elders.

  • Women’s Ministry Leadership Training, Atlanta, GA—March 5-7
  • General Assembly, Louisville, KY—June 22-26
  • Our Inaugural WE Conference, Atlanta, GA—October 9-10

“I have a deep heart for the wives who faithfully walk alongside their husbands in church leadership, often carrying both visible and unseen burdens. Having lived in ministry for many years alongside my husband Don, a Ruling Elder in the PCA, I understand the joys, challenges, and sacrifices that accompany this calling. I count it a privilege to come alongside other elders’ wives to provide resources, connection, and encouragement so that they are equipped to serve faithfully, churches are strengthened, and God is glorified.”

Katie Polski

Teaching Elder’s Wife

Katie is a writer, Bible teacher, and speaker. She is married to Chris, a pastor at Trinity Church in St. Louis, MO, and is a mother to three wonderful kids and one wonderful son-in-law. Katie works as the Director of Music Ministries and Special Events at Trinity and writes for several Christian ministries and organizations. She received her Master of Arts in Theology from Covenant Seminary in St. Louis and is author of Beyond the Back Row: Rediscovering the Beauty of the Local Church for your Family and You Are a Child of God (releasing with New Growth Press in August 2026).

“I’m excited about this new role serving wives of elders and pastors. I believe we will build on the historic strength of women’s ministry as a connectional, relational network while moving it toward deeper discipleship. Elders' wives often carry unique joys and burdens in relative isolation, yet they long for accessible discipleship, resourcing, and the assurance that they are not alone. I’m excited to help steward seasoned wisdom and shared experience of elders' wives in a way that enhances our service to our churches for the glory of God.”
