We welcome Roy Tomkus to the Dayspring office staff! Roy has already started as our volunteer coordinator and office administrator.

He says:

I am married to my wife, Gina, and together we are raising our four-year-old daughter, Cecilia, who brings constant joy and perspective to our lives. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve the church and look forward to supporting its mission, ministries, and the wider congregation in the years ahead."

Calling all early risers! We need volunteers to participate in Borderlands Produce Rescue this Saturday, January 24. The delivery truck will arrive at 4:00 a.m. with two pallets of packed produce boxes, followed by DoorDash pickup starting at 4:30. This is a meaningful way to help get fresh, rescued produce into the hands of families and individuals who need it most. If you have questions or need more information, please email Pastor Michael.

The Regional Unity Walk brings together neighbors from Chandler, Gilbert, Guadalupe, Mesa, Phoenix, and Tempe for an evening of connection, mutual respect, and community celebration at Tempe Town Lake. Join the free, one-mile walk this Saturday, January 24, beginning and ending at Tempe Beach Park, with a lively festival featuring music and food starting at 4:30 p.m. and the walk stepping off at 6:00 p.m.—plus a free T-shirt for participants who walk in the spirit of unity and understanding. more

We will collect non-perishable items (no glass containers please) for our neighbors through Tempe Community Action Agency this Sunday, October 26. Donations may be left on the benches at the front gate to be collected and delivered to TCAA following Sunday's services. Please make sure the food is not near or past its expiration date. Step into a peaceful space of candlelight, silence, and song at Dayspring’s monthly Taizé Service this Sunday, January 25, at 4:00pm. Rooted in the Taizé tradition, this contemplative service uses simple chants, scripture, and quiet reflection to create a deeply calming and prayerful experience. Especially meaningful for anyone seeking rest, healing, or spiritual grounding, Taizé offers a gentle close to the weekend and a chance to breathe deeply in God’s presence.

Join us Wednesday evenings from 6:45-7:30 for Improv fun, service activities, story telling, and games. Kids in 4th-6th are invited.

In BeTween Days: Comedy Improv!

Join us for In BeTween Days on Second Sunday from 8:45-9:30am, a fun, laughter-filled improv comedy session hosted by the BeTween group!

The BeTweens will kick things off by performing the improv games they’re preparing for their late-April showcase “BeTween A Rock and a Metaphor”, then the audience will be invited to join in (participation encouraged, never required).

Who: BeTween (participants) + all ages welcome as audience

When: Second Sundays, from 8:45–9:30am

Where: The BeTween Room

Why: It’s fun, builds confidence and empathy through the improv rule “Yes, and...” and gives kids a great activity while parents attend Second Sunday classes.

The Chandler Terry Fox Run honors the inspiring legacy of Terry Fox, who, after losing his leg to cancer at age 18, ran 3,339 miles across Canada in his Marathon of Hope to raise funds and awareness for cancer research. Though his run was cut short, his courage sparked a worldwide movement that continues today. This inclusive, family-friendly run/walk takes place at Desert Breeze Park (660 N Desert Breeze Blvd E, Chandler), with registration at 12:00 PM and the event running from 1:00–2:30 PM, welcoming participants of all abilities to join in support of cancer research. more
