Voter Registration Opportunity
Deputy Registrars are needed for registering voters at Oak Park-River Forest High School on  Tuesday, January 30, and  Thursday, February 1 . We will be registering during the lunch periods, which go from 10:44am - 1:18pm. Three volunteers for each day and lunch period should be sufficient. Sign up here. Seventeen year old students can register and vote in the primary as long as they will be 18 years old by the November 6, 2018 election. Max Freeman, a student and leader of the student Civics Club is our partner in this event. Thanks Max!
Also, does anyone have contacts at Fenwick or Trinity High School? It's been difficult to schedule these two schools for student voter registration. Please contact Peggy Kell with any information.
Lastly, LWV Cook County is co-sponsoring a  Video Voters Guide with WTTW. Volunteer guides will be needed to take candidates from the "green" room to the taping sessions and back.  Dates for these tapings are 1/30,1/31, 2/1, 2/2, 2/5, and 2/6 at the WTTW Studios, 5400 N. St. Louis, Chicago. Times have not been finalized yet. If you would be interested in helping, contact Peggy Kell.
