ELEMENTARY MUSICAL
February 25 at 7:00 pm
Wexford Campus in the South Venue

A Not So Terrible Parable
Performed by Berkeley Hills and Wexford students

It was a dark and stormy night . . .
A man lay injured by the side of the road. Two travelers passed him by. Mysteriously, he is delivered to the doorstep of the quaint Mountain Vista Inn, where the startled guests, the butler and the maid (of course!), and a famous detective must use their wits to sleuth out every clue to get to the bottom of this mystifying whodunit.

Please join us for mystery, candlelight, organ music, strange pizza toppings, and our host, Alistair McAlister, in this Master’s Peace Theater re-creation of the parable that Jesus told about the Good Samaritan.
Congratulations

MESSAGE FROM MR. AIKEN
Dear Parents and Students,

We are excited to welcome Anchorpoint Counseling to Campus today, Monday, January 27, and tomorrow, Tuesday, January 28. The counselors will be speaking with the students during their   Bible classes.

Additionally, we invite you to join us for the parent session tonight (Monday, January 27) at 6:30 in the school cafe .

The topics in classes will include peer pressure and the stress that can come with peer pressure. Unfortunately, the combination of these two challenges can lead to young people making poor choices. Healthy coping skills, as an alternative to succumbing to peer pressure, will also be presented. Some of the areas addressed will include alcohol, vaping, drugs and relationships.

Mrs. Cischke (Eden's school counselor) and each Bible teacher will be in attendance in the classroom.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

God Bless,
Todd Aiken
Principal and Chief Academic Officer

COUNSELING CORNER
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS, PARENTS AND GUARDIANS

The National College Fair is coming to the David Lawrence Convention Center on Thursday, February 6, 9:00-12:00 pm and 6:30-9:00 pm AND Friday, February 7, 9:00-12:00 pm

A college fair can be a great way to get initial information and access to hundreds of colleges, particularly if you're in 11th grade!

Avoid lines and receive additional details when you REGISTER FOR FREE at WWW.NACACFAIRS.ORG/NCF

You must email the front office to notify Eden that your student is attending the fair with at least one of their own parents/guardians, in order for them to receive an excused absence from school. Students, please be responsible and communicate with your teachers as well about any missed work or notes!

Once you connect with colleges of interest at a fair, great next steps are:
• Visit their website and view what they have to offer
• Schedule a tour

We recommend tours be scheduled, whenever possible, over breaks in order to limit missing academic instruction time at Eden. College visits with written notice are excused absences as well. To gain the most benefit from your visits, have questions ready to ask and if you have a major in mind ask the admissions department to sit in on a relevant class.
