ZEV Street Sweeper Display
February 12 - CA State Dept. of General Services - Sacramento
Join NorCal Clean Cities and Municipal Maintenance Equipment to “Drop-in-and-View" the RAVO R5e Zero-emission Street Sweeper on February12 from 12noon to 2pm at the California State Department of General Services, 1700 National Drive, Sacramento, 95834. The sweeper and subject matter experts will be on hand to answer all your questions.
The RAVO R5e is a mid-size 100% electric street sweeper with a five-yard hopper, designed for full-shift operation. It is capable of operating 8-10 hours on a single charge. The R5e has been in service for several years with fleets in the U.S. and internationally. At an industry-low 64 dB outside the cabin, the R5e makes early-morning and late-night shifts viable, all without emitting any CO2, Nitrogen Oxides or Particulates.

The Nevada Chapter of Fleet Pros has set up two tours of Redwood Materials’ state-of-the-art battery manufacturing and recycling facility on February 12 at 1201 575 Innovation Way, Sparks, NV.
Tour #1 – 9:00am to 10:00am (arrive at 8:45am to check in).
Tour #2 – 12:00pm to 1:00pm (arrive at 11:45am to check in.)

HVIP Reopened
CARB’s HVIP program reopened on December 16 at 9am. A program addendum has been released that has important program changes that impact voucher eligibility and requirements including:
- Eligible fleets can use HVIP vouchers to purchase Class 2b pickups
- Clean Fuel Rewards can now stack with HVIP for Class 8 truck purchases

EPA Environmental Education Grant Program

FuelEconomy.Gov Website Helps Choose Fuel-Efficient Vehicles
DOE and EPA’s FuelEconomy.gov website helps consumers choose the most fuel-efficient vehicle that meets their needs. In addition to providing the Fuel Economy Guide, FuelEconomy.gov includes lists of the Top Ten 2026 Fuel Sippers and the 2026 Most Efficient Vehicles by EPA Size Class. The website features updated fuel economy data for new and used passenger vehicles dating back to 1984, allows side-by-side vehicle comparisons, and offers tips to help consumers save money and fuel. The website also includes National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) safety ratings, information on incentives, and a variety of tools to help consumers understand fuel economy and make informed vehicle purchase decisions.

CALSTART “Zeroing in on Zero-Emission Trucks (ZETs): CALSTART has completed their eighth iteration of their report on the key trends in ZEV Trucks. Their main findings include:
- More than 59,000 ZETs have been deployed in the United States
- California, Washington and Wisconsin are the top three states for ZET adoption.
- Medium-duty trucks achieved 311 deployments, a 61 percent increase compared over 2024.

Geologic Hydrogen Deposits
