3rd Annual Chili Cook-Off

Saturday, February 7 after 5:30 Mass

 

Last year’s winner was Robb Shrader

who made Texas Chili. His famous chili will be on the menu this year.


Might you be this year's winner?

 

Five ways to have an enjoyable evening

1. Come eat chili and have a good time.

2. Come taste test and vote for your favorite chili, eat, have a good time.

3. Enter your chili in the cookoff, eat, and have a good time.

4. Bring a dessert to share if you wish.

5. All of the above, plus bring canned soup to support Central Louisville Community  Ministry’s “Souper Bowl” drive to fill up their food pantry. (More details about "Souper Bowl" below)


Suggested donation to attend: $5/person

 

 

Rules (Suggestions) for Chili Entry

Let us know by February 2 if you will be entering the competition.

 

Entry amount—1 gallon or more, preferably in crock pot; bring your own ladle.

 

Drop off in Undercroft before 5:30 Mass.

 

The winner’s recipe, unless it is top secret, will be published in the following week’s bulletin and newsletter.

As an active member congregation of Central Louisville Community Ministries, the Cathedral is collecting soup and other non-perishable food items at our

Chili Cook-Off on February 7.
