Dear Gateway Conference Pastors,
Below you will find the CQ assessment that was discussed in the last Impact Newsletter and sent to pastors last week for our February 24 Resourcing Day -Cultural Competency Training with Rev. Dr. Harry Li and Rev. Dr. Fraser Venter. This Resourcing Day will be held at the Greenville Free Methodist Church and will begin at 9am-3:30pm. Lunch and snacks will be provided. Don't forget to RSVP to gatewayfmcusa@gmail.com by Friday, February 16 so we can plan for lunch.
We are offering lodging at Durley Camp and Retreat Center for Pastors at the reduced rate of $25.00 per person per night. This lodging will be offered on a first come first served basis. Please RSVP to this address also if you would like to take advantage of this.
The Cultural Intelligence (CQ) assessment has been proven effective over many years and used with 350,000+ participants from over 160 countries. It is one of the only cultural intelligence assessments that is research-based and backed up by many peer-reviewed journal articles.
The Mosaix Global Network is the preferred, faith-based partner to the Cultural Intelligence Center and uses this assessment to provide faith-based groups with theologically based training.
The assessment has been made available for you and can be used to provide both individual feedback as well as collective team feedback for larger groups. After completing the assessment, you will be able to download a 21-page feedback report that is for your
own personal development and enrichment. It will also be used to help find practical pathways to grow in your understanding of oneness and deepen your journey of being able to engage and interact with diverse others more effectively. A group report will also be generated that contains an anonymized summary of our collective responses. If you have lay people that will be attending, please forward this assessment onto them to complete.

There are no wrong answers! Be as open and honest as you can which results in the most insight about yourself. The assessment typically requires approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. Accordingly, if you do not have 20 minutes at this time, please return and complete the survey at a later time. The feedback tends to be more accurate if you complete the survey in one session.
