AMFA will again represent the region’s manufacturing industry at the 22nd annual Duluth and St. Louis County Day at the Capitol on February 21 & 22 at the Intercontinental St. Paul Riverfront Hotel.
 
AMFA volunteers will be the “voice of manufacturing” to an audience of Minnesota senators and representatives on legislation that is a priority to manufacturers in the region, including:
  • Streamlining regulatory and permitting processes
  • Supporting efficient tax code reform to reduce the burden on business
  • Investing in workforce development and talent recruitment
  • Maintaining critical multi-modal transportation infrastructure.

Have you reviewed your company's information on AMFA's website? You will be required to do this for the 2019 printed directory. Go here to create a Login Account (User Name and Password). Once you have a login please review the accuracy of your company listing and update inaccurate or incomplete information. You also can use the MIC to post jobs, add events to the calendar, and more. Webinar: Advanced Career
Wednesday, January 16 • 2:00-3:00 pm

Learn about a high school, project-based program developed and currently running in southern US states as a way to address workforce shortages. This curriculum encourages industry engagement while working on real-world projects, focused on high skill, high demand careers. This can also be a great pipeline into local post-secondary schools seeking enrollment in hard to fill, technical careers. Contact.
