KAM Turns 30!

On November 1, 1991, the Kansas Aviation Museum opened their doors. Thanks to the vision of many individuals within our community, the plan was conceived to open an air museum to commemorate the history that Wichita has to the world of aviation.

In fact, Wichita has changed the world because of our contribution to aviation over the past 100+ years. With visionaries like Lloyd Stearman, Walter and Olive Ann Beach, Clyde Cessna, and a host of others, it's easy to see the importance of preserving our history.

This museum would not be possible if it wasn't for the tireless work and support of volunteers and staff and the monetary support from so many of you. So for our 30th anniversary we want to offer something back to you! From January 1st - November 1st, enjoy 30% off any new membership purchase.

New KAM Merch!

As part of our 30th anniversary, KAM has new merchandise available. These uniquely designed and high quality items are available at Amelia's Landing in our museum gift shop. The t-shirts come in size Sm - XL (with XXL available for order $23), and the tumblers are 20 oz.

Stop by and pick up a shirt or tumbler, or both. They are $20 a piece or through January pick up a shirt and tumbler for $35.

Heading into 2022, we are excited about a variety of events on our calendar. Each one is a special and unique opportunity to learn more about our rich aviation history as well as support the continued work and mission of KAM. As mentioned earlier, there are projects that we plan to tackle in the coming months, and they are made possible by your generous and continued support.

On February 26th, we will host our Celebrate Aviation Book Signing Event. This will feature Molly McMillan with Aviation Weekly, and book authors, Ron Ryan, Ed Sykes, and Paul Bowen. You don't want to miss out. The tickets are $100 per person or $150 per person. More details will be hitting your email soon.

Sincerely,
