NOFO Reminder
The 2021 – 2022 Formula NOFO is due on February 1, 2021. The formula cost reimbursement operational application id is 21AC233161. This is a renewal year for the EngageAR prime grant. As a result, your previous year application may not copy over. For continuation applicants, if your application does not copy over, you will need to copy and paste your most recent application into eGrants. Then follow the continuation application instructions. All applicants, please remember to include all required additional documents in the manner described in the NOFO.
EngageAR Gear Store
The EngageAR Gear store is open until January 15th. The next store opening will likely be in the spring, so please think through any gear needs you may have in the near future.  
LeaderCorps Update
On January 7th LeaderCorps members will participate in a virtual workshop on Telling the AmeriCorps Story, presented by Hilary Trudell of The Yarn Storytelling. This workshop will support members as they work to submit stories to Engage AR on the impact AmeriCorps is having on their communities and their personal development.

Cohort 2 Nominations: This year we are opening up a second cohort of LeaderCorps nominations for programs that have not yet nominated a LeaderCorps Representative. Nominations are due on January 11.
MLK Day of Service
All EngageAR programs are expected to participate in an MLK Day of Service Project. Service day projects should be different from a member's typical service activities and ideally, include partnerships with external organizations. See the resources below for assistance in planning your project.
Guidance Regarding Use of Unexpended Funds for Training
In response to a question regarding the appropriate use of EngageAR funds for training costs not included in the original grant application or budget, please see the update to the Budget Modification Guidelines.  The update begins on page 3.

EngageAR has partnered with THV11 and Craig O'Neil to support "Arkansan of the Day." This daily segment recognizes volunteers and outstanding individuals across the state. Please nominate your outstanding AmeriCorps members!
