Austin Street Art Walk

Every second Saturday of each month, from 10 am – 7pm. Austin Street Art Walk is presented by Rockport Center for the Arts, in partnership with local galleries, restaurants, and businesses located along Austin St. (over 30 participating businesses) Art Walk is a free, alfresco, walkable experience featuring an ever-changing mix of participants representing various art mediums such as paintings, pottery, jewelry, photography, textiles, as well as live music, artist demonstrations, food and more. For more information follow us at

The Rockport District hosts Second Saturday every month with live music and special themes to enjoy along with Artwalk, Farmers Market, Makers Market. The Smithsonian is coming to Texas!

January 25 - March 9, 2025

Texans are proud their small towns, but what does rural America look like today, and how has it changed over the last century? This is the central question posed in "Crossroad: change in Rural America" Smithsonian exhibit traveling to seven small towns across the state starting this month. The Museum on Main Street (MoMS) program is a unique initiative by the Smithsonian Institution that brings world-class exhibitions to small-town America. Since 1994, MoMS has traveled to over 1,900 communities; this year, it'll debut in Texas.

"Crossroads" aims to highlight rural America's unique and history while addressing the opportunities for economic revitalization is small towns, It will feature engaging display, interactive components, and locally curated content encouraging visitors to reflect on the importance of preserving small-town heritage and the potential for future growth. The exhibit will be on display in seven Texas towns for a six-week period.

Aransas National Wildlife Refuge

Open daily from 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset. The Visitor Center is open daily 9:00 am to 4:00 pm until April 14th, then closed Mon-Tues starting April 15th. Come hike a trail, fish off the pier or from your kayak, or drive the 16-mile auto tour. Goose Island State Park

Memorial Park

Check out the Disc golf course intertwining among the oak trees. Memorial Park is located at 1601 FM 2165 (Pearl St.) in Rockport. The park includes a 6000 sq. ft. modular skate park.
