Target Circle Gives Back
We are so excited to announce that we have been chosen to participate in a special charitable giving campaign, sponsored and funded by Target. And you can help direct a portion of Target's donation to us!

Now through March 31, vote for us through the Target Circle program to help determine how Target's donation will be divvied up. It's easy to do online and through the Target app.

As you earn more votes, you can keep voting multiple times during the campaign. Your votes and donations go toward supporting animal care, vet care, and operating expenses during our off-season.

Thank you for your support!

Homeschool Classes

Spring Homeschool Classes start on February 10.

Our Homeschool Class Series meets in the Tire Rack Education Center AEP Foundation STEM Classroom. The STEM-focused classes are designed to inspire students to get excited about animal conservation careers through animal encounters, games, crafts, and more! There are groups for 6-8 year olds and 9-12 year olds.

This class series, we'll spend four classes learning about the daily tasks of being a vet, and four classes learning about the responsibilities of zoo keepers.

Pricing is discounted for Zoo Members and for additional children.

Masks and social distancing are required. If you're feeling ill, please don't attend this event. Thank you for helping us keep the Zoo safe for everyone!

Indiana Bird Walk

Join Zoo education staff member and avid-birder, Melissa, for a guided birding trip through the Zoo on Saturday, January 30, from 8:30 am - 10 am.

We will start with a bird walk around the Zoo, and then we will finish with a special animal encounter with one of the Zoo’s native resident birds! Bird lovers of all ages are invited to bring their binoculars, bird field guides, and cameras for this special experience during the Zoo’s closed season!

This is an all-ages event, and will take place rain or shine. Spots for this event are limited so sign up soon!

Bird Walk pricing varies by age and membership, so check the website for details.

2020 Giving Update
Our deepest thanks to everyone who supported the Zoo's Annual Appeal and gave on GivingZOOday! We know this was a difficult year for a lot of people, but thanks to your generosity, we raised $23,571 in the last few months, which goes toward animal care, veterinary care, and operating expenses at the Zoo. Together, we are building the future!
