Delhi CDO Workforce Visits new Delhi Rehabilitation and Nursing Center

Maggie Gilbert, Assistant Director Delhi CDO Workforce, and Fred Barkalow, Delhi CDO Workforce Career Counselor, recently attended an Open House for the new Delhi Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

The Delhi CDO Workforce office  has been the conduit for all applications, and they assisted with recruiting and the interview process.

The nearly 127,000-square foot facility replaces Countryside Care Center, which was closed by the NY Department of Health in 2012.

At full capacity, the facility will be home to 176 residents and 70 employees

Sixty percent of the rooms are private, and there are large rooms for family gatherings and public meetings, as well as rehabilitation spaces and therapy rooms.

The Center, designed to be part of the community, will open once it receives approval from the Health Department
