The Intenders of the Highest Good, facilitated by Kimberly Winsor, is a free community circle that shows you how to set your intention to have that which you desire come to you as easily and effortlessly as possible. A simple method of empowerment is used called The Intention Process which makes all of our dreams come true. We understand that our desires are in us to be fulfilled and that our thoughts create our world. We support and help one another to become as clear as possible in our words and our thoughts so that we can live our lives to the fullest.

The Intention Process is for those who want to use the Laws of Manifestation in their daily lives, line up with the Highest Good and have a lot of fun while they're at it!

 The Board of Directors meet on the first Wednesday of every month, via Zoom. The Board of Directors is the governing body for the Institute for Spiritual Development in Oneonta. All major decisions will need to be ratified by the Board. New policies are reviewed and set, the treasurer's report is reviewed and financial decisions are voted upon. The board determines the direction that ISD takes, and plans for its future. If you have some ideas you would like discussed, you are welcome to email Kimberly Winsor, the President of the Board, to see if it can be added to the Board Agenda. Visitors are welcome to attend and observe, but do not have the privilege of voting. There will be a time for public commentary, if you are not on the agenda.

ASTROLOGY FORECAST

(Jan 17 - 24)

We have been dealing with some retrogrades recently. MERCURY, MARS, URANUS, PALLAS have overlapped their backward motions.

Mars stationed direct last week in Gemini. This week Mercury and Uranus will move ahead once more. This will feel like a relief, especially as the SUN finishes its transit of Capricorn.

Capricorn naturally has a somewhat serious, structured, responsible flavor to its implementation. Having several retrogrades active while the Sun highlights this sign adds to that serious, Earthbound, call. This call to rethink, restructure, adjust plans to your latest wishes is a useful activity at this time.

Capricorn is a Cardinal sign, leading into the Winter season in the northern hemisphere. While the sign is very serious in nature, it is interesting that it hosts many celebratory holidays and festivals around the world. It is an opportunity, perhaps, to get calm and quiet so that each of us may find our best deep Earthen qualities to take into the New Year. The natural world in the North rests. This is a purposeful, healthy time for renewal.

MANY CHANGES ARE COMING IN 2023. You will want your thinking and responses to be at their best.

MERCURY is resuming forward motion on the 18th in Capricorn. The last decanate(10 day Solar interval) in Capricorn has a theme of HONOR. The Constellation is Draco, the benevolent dragon who guards your treasures. Mercury is the sub ruler of this finale of Capricorn. The highlight for these last days on the cusp of Aquarius is encouraging. If you have taken care of your foundation, you are prepared to shift into an altruistic, adventurous, visionary part of your total being after the inner looking nature of the retrograde planets have had their influence.

The SUN moves into Aquarius at 3:29 am EST on 1/20/23. This is a time when the mental and emotional activities tend to take on a wide view. The attention is more futuristic and cares about broad populations of people and topics. Do not be surprised if your attachment to detail wanes at this time, particularly if it is someone else's drama. You detach so that you may focus on what is best, and for the greatest good. There will be a time to tend to details and for immersion, but that time is not now.

Aquarius is cosmic energy. The water bearer is not actually bearing water. The jug is pouring forth Cosmic Love and Light. Star connections are gifting themselves to all who will consent to receive.

The following day is a NEW MOON in Aquarius peaking at 3:53 pm EST. There are a few added features to this alignment that will add to its significance.

The SUN, MOON, and PLUTO are conjunct. They are all trine MARS in Gemini. MERCURY is trine the NORTH NODE and URANUS, who are conjunct in Taurus. These conjunctions and trines are powerful and positive additions to this NEW MOON. This gives you a distinctive advantage for leaving what no longer serves you to the annals of the Akashic records. Bless these things and move on with the energies transformed.

The 4 planet stellium in Aquarius enhances the native characteristics to an even greater degree. The Sun, Moon, Venus, and Saturn are all adding their power. The element is Air. Freedom and flow are highlighted.

Now we come to URANUS. The outer planet has been retrograde since 8/24/22. It stirs the pot in different ways. In the areas where we have been fixed and stubborn, the retrograde season will tend to topple us off the sticking points, and not in a pleasant way. However, in the places where we have shown flexibility and tried for grace, the retrograde interval might have served as a welcome muse. Revolutionary, surprising ideas may have been floating to the surface. The planet has been flirting with the cosmic portal on the Taurus Point of Avatar. The forward and backward motions have kept the portal within an effective range for a while. What is more, Uranus and the Moon's North Node have been in an arc of conjunction since May of 2022. (The North Node being the indicator of our first, best destiny.)

URANUS turns direct on 1/22/23. Some of your new ideas, wishes, and also needed changes can gain momentum now. There is a long term aspect to this slow moving orb. Events may be sudden. The changes they initiate will tend to be longer in duration.

It is an active few days. Remember to center in your Heart whenever you feel the need. It is always at your disposal, always ready to remind you of your birthright as a Divine being. May you find your GODSPEED.

ASTROLOGY FORECAST (Jan 25 -31)

There is one sign change this week. VENUS transits into Pisces on 1/26 at 9:33 pm EST. VENUS will contribute her grace and beauty to Pisces. She will help highlight the beauty of imagination and mystery. This is an expansive energy to add to an already magical sign.

Few people are without dreams that stretch their world view, whose scope goes beyond daily living. We are hopeful and imaginative by nature. The level of attention we give our dreams varies in the QUALITY of that attention. Some are for entertainment purposes only. We never truly believe they can reach fruition, therefore they remain perpetually in the future. We still derive pleasure from the emotional imaginary creation.

The veils are thinning. Our creator abilities are rising. Venus in Pisces at this time can help bring the dream closer. A useful exercise for the creator muscles might be to begin with something you've hoped for, but not achieved yet. Start with something small. Imagine how you will FEEL when it is created. The feeling is an important ingredient. Take the first steps and enjoy the process. Allow Venus' transit in Pisces to help you. Remember the feeling. You don't use your Mental body as much as your Emotional body when using the imagination.

Look to the evening sky to see VENUS rise ever higher in the night sky from the west. Our Sister planet is an inspiring bright light in our sky.

Pisces is along the ecliptic path. Just above that in the sky is the Great square of Pegasus. The Andromeda constellation, including our Sister galaxy, is an extension off the upper left hand star of the square. The Winged horse is a beautiful mystical creature that stirs the imagination.

Below the Pisces constellation on the elliptic is a dark region that is void of stars at first glance. In that dark space is the Royal star FOMALHAUT.

I invite you to use this combination of stars and planets to exercise your imagination. Use more partners to stretch your reach and your skills. I always suggest meditating to develop your own relationship with any of these heavenly bodies.

I will recommend the Star Walk 2 app for your phone once again to help you learn the night sky. This may be especially helpful if you don't have easy access to dark skies. One of the nicest surprises included in the app is a real time illustration of meteors. They are constant almost every night. It shows their path as they streak across our atmosphere. The app shows the placement of the stars during the day, and even what is below the horizon.

There is a possibility of seeing a once in a lifetime sight in the last few days of January and the first week of February. It is a comet that has been coming toward us through our Solar System. It has not been in this neighborhood since the stone age and will not be coming again any time soon. It has an estimated 50,000 year orbit.

The comet was discovered in March 2022. It goes by the name of Comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) - Not easily memorable!

It is warming as it approaches our Sun. The tail is short, but the feature that may make it possible to pick out is the green color to the coma, or body. It is possible you may be able to see it with the naked eye. Viewing will be improved through binoculars and is more distinct through a small telescope if any of you have one.

So where do you look? Toward the end of the month it will be near Polaris, the North Star around 9 pm.(Time is approximate.) Look for what may appear to be a "star" that appears dusty and glows slightly green.

If you are lucky enough to see it you will be looking at an object from deep space that made its way to our neighborhood! I hope we all get to see it!
