Fund Spotlight!
The Stuart Harris Drama Scholarship was transferred to the Community Foundation in 2003 by the Danville Public Schools Academic Booster Club to provide scholarships to graduates of Danville Public Schools who have exhibited outstanding dramatic abilities.

Stuart Harris was a native of Danville. His interest in drama began in childhood and continued through his life. He served as a Naval Lieutenant in WWII and then attended the University of North Carolina and received his Master's in English Literature from Columbia University. After graduation, worked for the Franklin Spier Advertising Agency, then Harper Brothers Book Publisher, then Harcourt Brace Javonovich.

Donations can be made to this fund at any time and they can be made in honor or in memory of a loved one.
