Office of First Year Experience and Retention Programs | Florida Gulf Coast University | January 2019
A Note from the Office:
Happy New Year and Welcome Back!

We are excited to have you and your student back with us for the spring 2019 term! We hope that you enjoyed the time with your student back home over break. The start of the 2019 term can be a great way for students to continue to build on their success from the fall semester. Also, if you found out that your student didn’t perform as well as they hoped, it can be a fresh start opportunity for them to reach their academic and personal goals. The Center for Academic Achievement (CAA) is a great resource for students who are looking for help to achieve their academic goals. The CAA is located in the Library (Library West 103) and they offer free tutoring, supplemental instruction, success workshops, time management help, and much more! Don’t forget to mention the CAA when talking with your student about building on their success or achieving success this semester!
