OK, perhaps a small problem. But arctic-like conditions won't stop the Daily Bread team from getting food to all those in need. With a little help from an unlimited supply of hand warmers and 130,000 BTUs of propaney goodness, of course.

RECORD NUMBERS OF VISITORS TO THE PANTRY

The one-two punch of rapidly rising prices and the expiration of the 2021 American Rescue Plan's child tax credit brought more visitors to the Pantry in January and February than ever before, far exceeding totals seen at the very start of the pandemic.

DAILY BREADLE!

Completely different from that other game : ) Guess the BREADLE in 6 tries. The BREADLE will be a word connected in some way to Daily Bread - usually food-related. But the connection may also be extremely tenuous or cryptic. Proper nouns (names, places) are fair game, as are plurals. Britishisms and even the occasional Spanish word (in either case, only words you hear regularly at the Pantry) may also make an appearance.

Go on - show your fellow volunteers you are smarter than them after all. Just don't share too widely outside of the Pantry - if the New York Times gets wind of this, you may be looking for a new President. Waddaya mean, "How do I contact the NYT legal department?"
