The Spirit of Sheboygan County Awards ceremony was created to celebrate individuals, groups, and companies that epitomize the spirit of giving throughout the year.

Helps us recognize the countless people who have been a bright light in these trying times!

New award categories beyond volunteerism mirror the efforts made by community members to support continued and rising needs across the county in the last year. The nomination portal is now open and closes on February 9th.The celebration will be a virtual format the last week of April with each day of the week dedicated to honoring the winner of each category. Stay tuned for more!
Join us for a special virtual concert LIVE from Nashville on February 26th. Tickets are $25 and 50 percent of this show's ticket price will be donated to the United Way of Sheboygan County!

Featured artists are singer-songwriters Rhett Akins, Jessi Alexander, and Jon Randall. They’ve written hits for Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett, Jon Pardi, Luke Bryan, Justin Moore, Chris Young, Brantley Gilbert, Dustin Lynch, Blake Shelton, Lee Brice, Miley Cyrus, Scotty McCreary, Miranda Lambert, and Dierks Bentley, to name just a few.

Developmental Screenings
Registering to have your child screened by an ASQ-3 trained screener to learn more about your child’s development on January 20th.

Screenings include these developmental areas: Language Problem Solving, Fine & Large Motor Skills, and Social Skills.

Register children 3 or younger by emailing [email protected] or calling Family Resource Center at 920-892-6706.

For children older than 3, contact your child's school district.

Working Together Award Nomination
The Sheboygan County COVID-19 Relief Fund was nominated for the Working Together Award in the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce's annual Champions Gala.

Congratulations to nominees in this category and all those being honored. With the many unexpected challenges in the last year, we are so grateful for the many community partnerships that have been a bright light for so many across Sheboygan County! Learn more here.
United Way of Sheboygan County 2019/2020 Annual Report
We share our 2019-2020 annual report to shine a light on where we were, where we are, and where we can go together. United, we will continue to help our neighbors rise through supporting prevention, intervention, and crisis response programming that address barriers of inequity.

Thank you for being a bright light to so many experiencing darkness and investing in our community.

Sheboygan County COVID-19 Relief Fund Report
The Sheboygan County COVID-19 Relief Fund was launched to provide immediate resources to the most pressing needs in our community and allocate funds to nonprofit agencies that provide support to those suffering most due to COVID-19.

Launched on March 14, 2020 and running through July 2020 a total of $285,176 was raised and awarded to 32 local nonprofits.

COVID-19 Nonprofit Response Network
Since March 2020, UWSC has been hosting a virtual meeting for all nonprofits to join us in conversations to better understand the implications of the growing needs in our community due to COVID-19.
