Join Us February 1 for the 90-Second Newbery Film Festival

Last year's filmmakers
Get ready to laugh as co-hosts and kids' book authors James Kennedy and Bruce Coville take to the Eisenhart Auditorium stage at Rochester Museum and Science Center, for another uproarious  90-Second Newbery Film Festival Kennedy is the author of The Order of Odd-Fish, and Coville has had more than 100 kids books published, including My Teacher is an AlienInto the Land of Unicorns, and Jeremy Thatcher, Dragon Hatcher.

This event features 90-Second movies created by local youth filmmakers, as well as works from kids across the country, that are based on Newbery Award-winning books. Now in its ninth year, and screening in 13 cities across the U.S., this is the fifth year the festival returns to Rochester with fun for the whole family!

Each year, RCTV partners with Writers & Books, Kids Out and About, and this year, with RMSC to host this FREE event that is open to the public, and perfect family entertainment.

Following the screening of the works, we'll take a photo of all the filmmakers, then James and Bruce will be on hand for a book signing. Hipocampo Books will have many of the authors' books available for purchase, as well as other Newbery Award-winning books.

Although the festival is free, we do ask that you register to make ensure we have enough seats.  Click here for FREE reservations .

Many thanks to our generous sponsors Delta Airlines, Cheshire Audio Visual, Friends and Foundation of the Rochester Public Library, and RIT Magic Spell Studios, without which this program would not possible.

The Ten
The Ten
RCTV is now producing a music video show called The Ten, hosted by Mars McGowan, that features interviews with Rochester-based musicians and music videos of all genres by musicians from across the world.

If you're a musician or part of a musical group, or you know someone who would like to have radio-clean versions of their music featured on this show, send a note along with a link to the music video to DeAnn DeLeon ( deann@rctvmedia.org) to be considered for this show.

Please help us spread the word among musicians!
