Good News Recap: January 2021
Happy New Year from LCH!
It is a time for new beginnings. We are so pleased to announce that we are finally legally changing our name from La Comunidad Hispana to LCH Health and Community Services. (Read our recent press release about our legal name change.) As we continue to grow and provide health care for all in southern Chester County, our legal name will now reflect what we do, and make it easier for community members to find us online. We are proud to serve all! As we press ahead into 2021, we hope you continue to stay safe, stay positive, and stay connected.
LCH is thrilled to be a part of local vaccination distribution in southern Chester County in coordination with the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Currently we are giving shots to those in category 1A, which includes people over the age of 65 and those 18-64 with certain conditions (the complete list can be found here). Do you fall into the 1A category? Fill out the Chester County Health Department's COVID Vaccine Pre-Registration Form. You will be notified when and where vaccines are available. LCH is not maintaining a public waiting list at this time. While there is no timeline for how quickly we will move through the recommended vaccine phases, we look forward to supporting our community in this way. Continue to follow the Chester County Health Department’s Facebook page for more updates. If you are an existing patient at LCH and fall into the 1A category, please call us at (610) 444-7550.
