This we BELIEVE, this we CONFESS, this we READ and this we PRAY in 2025!

In 2025, we are continuing to dig into His Holy Word. Each weekday we have designed an appointed reading plan that includes a portion of the Old Testament, a portion of the Book of Concord, and a Psalm to prayer. As the plan is followed, by the end of 2025 one will read the whole Old Testament and Book of Concord and pray the Psalms twice. The weekend is meant for everyone to be receiving the good gifts of Christ in worship and an opportunity to “catch up” when you miss a few days here and there. If you miss a day, keep moving forward. Please do not make this reading plan an additional source of guilt in your life. When we are in His Word, learning theology, and praying----It’s all a gift. Rejoice in what He gives.

We pray: BLESSED Lord, who hast caused all holy Scriptures to be written for our learning; Grant that we may hear them, read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest them, that by patience and comfort of thy holy Word, we may embrace, and ever hold fast, the blessed hope of everlasting life, which thou hast given us in our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Confessional Lutheran Church Malawi Synod (CLCMS) has started Primary Schools in the north, northcentral and southern parts of Malawi, Africa.  English is an important language for these young children, for boys and girls. Being able to read and write in English opens the world of future career options. English also opens the scriptures and theology as new Pastors, Evangelists, and Deaconesses are raised through CLCMS church schools in Malawi.

Zion Lutheran School (LCMS), Alexandria, MN, knows the value of solid grounding in faith and language skills. Zion School Administrator, Andrew Strickland, and his staff have assembled three sets of Second Grade English instruction

for CLCMS teachers. Sixty-six 2nd Grade level Arch Books will reinforce English skills through Bible stories. One hundred and two Bible lessons will help ground youth faith.  Thrivent grants made postage possible.
