KHC Region IV Member Event
KHC Region IV Membership Event with equine attorney, Denise Farris.

January 9th brought over 50 equine owners together for a presentation by nationally recognized equine attorney, Denise Farris, of Farris Law Firm, LLC.  Attendees received valuable information regarding legal issues faced by horse owners such as: premise liability, the use of waivers, boarding disputes and much more.

The event was organized with the help of Region IV Director, Chris Kaegi-Stevens, and KHC member, Susan Jaax. It was held at the Prairie Rose Chuckwagon in Benton.  Judging by the comments following the event everyone was very glad they attended and greatly valued Denise's expertise in equine law.
