Adult Henna Program

Adults are invited to come and have beautiful henna patterns drawn on their hands! Henna is a plant based natural dye. It’s made out of dried leaves. Leaves are ground into a fine powder then mixed with essential eucalyptus oil and water to make a paste which is applied with the help of cones to make beautiful patterns. The finished pattern has a rich brown color upon drying and stays well for 7-10 days!
Wallington patrons will have priority during the first week of registration, beginning December 25th. Non-residents will be able to register beginning January 1st.
You must enter a library card number to register, regardless of residence. Registrations without a valid library card number will be canceled. Non-residents registering before their day will also be canceled.

Be Internet Awesome-Highlights+Google Initiative

This is a new initiative made by GOOGLE AND HIGHLIGHTS together to teach kids about internet safety. Kids between grades 2nd- 10th can join us in the library meeting room for this digital safety workshop, where kids will be given hands on training to safely tackle all the internet related issues.
