Annual Appeal
We can’t do it without you!

Did you know the Raymond Village Library is an independent non-profit, and not currently a town department? While the Town of Raymond provides close to half of our annual operating budget, the majority of funds for purchasing books, movies & programming supplies relies on fundraising and the generous support of our patrons.

Donations can be mailed or submitted online at www.raymondvillagelibrary.org.

The library held discussions this past fall with the Town of Raymond regarding officially becoming a town department in 2022. We are excited about this opportunity and would appreciate your support at the June 2022 town meeting vote.

Thank you to all those who have supported RVL throughout the year. We look forward to continuing to provide library services to the Raymond community in 2022!
RVL Book Group
Virtual Book Group Meeting
January 31st, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.

Join us via Zoom for a literary discussion of
Anxious People by Fredrik Backman.

"Looking at real estate isn't usually a life-or-death situation, but an open house becomes just that when a failed bank robber takes a group of strangers' hostage. They are the worst group of hostages ever. As the police and the media surround the premises, these reluctant allies will reveal truths about themselves and set in motion a chain of events so unexpected that even they can hardly explain what happens next.
FMI, or to request Zoom passcode, please contact Melanie, RVL book group facilitator.
Cookbook Club

January Staff Pick

Cloud Cuckoo Land by Anthony Doerr

"Doerr’s dazzling imagination transports us to worlds so dramatic and immersive that we forget, for a time, our own. He has created a tapestry of times and places that reflects our vast interconnectedness—with other species, with each other, with those who lived before us, and those who will be here after we are gone.

Dedicated to 'the librarians then, now, and in the years to come,' Cloud Cuckoo Land is a paean to the extraordinary human capacity to transmit stories from generation to generation and a novel about stewardship—of books, of our shared planet, and of the human heart." - AnthonyDoerr.com
