Please join us for our first virtual Lunch with a Researcher event on Thursday, February 4th from noon – 1:00 pm. Missouri has been a leader in COVID vaccine and treatment research. Hear four local experts discuss Missouri’s role and what we can expect in the upcoming year. The flyer is listed below along with the registration link. In the upcoming months we will focus on diabetes, precision medicine, research & innovation and regenerative medicine. Look for more information in future newsletters and on our website. WISER Woman:
January’s WISER Woman is Dr. Becky Lynn, CEO and Founder of Evora Women’s Health at St. Luke’s Hospital and an Adjunct Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Saint Louis University. Dr. Lynn specializes in menopause and sexual health and is a certified North American Menopause Society Physician. She was named as one of the top 100 menopause providers in the United States by Faboverfifty™ in 2020. You can learn more about her work here.
Meet the Researcher:
Dr. Matifadza Hlatshway is Associate Program Director of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Hlatshway has been appointed to the City of St. Louis Board of Health where she will help advise on programs of essential public health, including COVID-19 pandemic response, communicable disease mitigation, and health and racial justice. We are excited to announce she will be a panelist for our first Lunch with a Researcher event on the topic of COVID-19. Learn more about Dr. Hlatshway’s work.
