Cornerstone VNA builds their future

Cornerstone VNA, a nonprofit home health and hospice care organization, broke ground on an important capital project to expand their building and renovate their existing space. This project marks a pivotal moment in the organization’s 108 year history, and positions them for continued success in the future.

Over $1,500 donated to NHFCU’s 2020 Santa for Seniors Giving Tree Drive

The community contributed gift cards and homemade holiday cards to NH Federal Credit Union's Santa for Seniors Giving Tree. They were placed on “Giving Trees” in each NHFCU lobby for two weeks. In Mid-December, Santa delivered over $1,500 in gift card donations and homemade cards to nine senior facilities in the NHFCU services areas.

Mezzanine Catering gives to SEED

SEED just received a $592 donation from Mezzanine Catering. The donation will be used to help underwrite the 2021 spring grant period.
Earlier this year, Mezzanine Catering decided to commit to making monthly contributions to local nonprofits based on sales from its Mezz at Home program-- a take home meal program featuring curated selections of chef-prepared meals.  

Realtor dedicates portion of 2020 sales to SEED

Seacoast Endowment for Education in Dover (“SEED”), a nonprofit organization dedicated to lifting academic excellence in Dover schools, recently received a $1,200 donation from Mindy Marcouillier, realtor at Great Island Realty

SEH Studios collaborates with painters to create public art exhibit
SEH Studios recently collaborated with two other oil painters from Dover and Southern Maine to create a public art exhibit in the windows of what is now Foster’s Place along Henry Law Avenue facing the park.

The Edison Electric Institute (EEI) announced Eversource as a recipient of EEI’s Emergency Response Award for its outstanding power restoration efforts following Tropical Storm Isaias last summer.

Dr. A. David Davis of Access Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics is finding great success with a revolutionary total knee replacement procedure. Utilizing the Conformis customized total knee replacement system, Dr. Davis is able to perform the surgery as an outpatient procedure and get patients back in their homes to rest and recuperate as quickly as possible. 

West Named HRCU’s new Director of Human Resources

HRCU is pleased to announce that Donna West has been hired as their Director of Human Resources. West brings nearly a decade of HR experience to HRCU. Most recently, serving as the HR Manager at RiverWoods Durham, in Durham NH. In this role, West oversaw HR, while facilitating professional development, managing all benefits, and onboarding new employees.

Leddy Group Promotes Katie Hudson to Regional Director
Leddy Group, a privately owned, regional staffing company serving New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, and northern Massachusetts since 1994, is excited to announce that Katie Hudson has been promoted from senior staffing manager to regional director, effective January 1.
Hudson joined Leddy Group in November of 2015 and was promoted to senior staffing manager in February of 2017.
