Before You File: Tax Season Compliance Check for Small Businesses
As this tax season approaches, our firm is entering its first filing season as an independent practice. We can’t think of a better way to introduce ourselves than by using our 20+ years of combined IRS examination experience to help small businesses identify potential issues before returns are filed. We are offering a $750 fixed-fee pre-filing compliance check focused on areas the IRS commonly examines, including income reporting, expense classification, prior-year filings, and S corporation officer compensation. The check includes an analysis of financial statements, a cursory general ledger review, bank activity review, prior-year return review, and a written summary report outlining observations and recommendations. This check does not include bookkeeping cleanup or tax preparation, but these services are available separately if needed. To learn more, please contact Dan or Ardella at 708-465-1240 or visit us at Nowakowski and Conner.
