Released in 2023, the novel tells the story of Black and Jewish residents of the Chicken Hill neighborhood of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, in the 1920s and '30s. The virtual event is made possible by Illinois Libraries Present, a statewide collaboration among public libraries offering high-quality events. Illinois Libraries Present is funded in part by a grant awarded by the Illinois State Library, a Department of the Office of Secretary of State, using funds provided by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services, under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). Puzzle Mania

Looking for a fun evening with your family and friends? Put together a team of 4 and register for Puzzle Mania, a jigsaw puzzle tournament. Teams will race against each other to finish the same puzzle. There will be two divisions: kids only & family/friends. The puzzles will be 300 pieces for the kids and 500 pieces for the family/friends competition. Bring snacks and enjoy an evening working together to solve the puzzle. Prizes will be given to the winning teams.
