Happy New Year Fellow T&C Families and Friends,
Although next week looks to be wintery, spring is fast approaching, and we are excited to welcome all our families and participants back to campus for another great season at T&C. Our maintenance staff have been working hard over the break and were fortunate with the weather, which has helped in establishing our winter grass. So, the fields are in really good shape this year for the start of our spring season. We will be opening the complex on a staged basis over the next few weeks to continue to allow the winter grass to establish but are looking forward to having all the kids back out playing very soon.
Unfortunately, the gym space limited the number of participants we could enroll this year for basketball, but the season is approaching midpoint now and going well.
Registration for baseball, softball, soccer, and lacrosse are now open, so I encourage you to sign up as soon as possible as some programs already have limited space. Once registered please remember to watch your emails and check the website often as sports season events will be starting very soon.
As always, we are actively looking for volunteer coaches in all our spring sports. Coaching is an extremely rewarding and fun way to get involved with your child’s activity, so I encourage all you parents to reach out to the league commissioners in your child’s sport and join in the fun becoming a part of the team.
I hope you and your families enjoyed a healthy, safe, and Happy Holiday Season and I look forward to seeing all of you out on campus this spring to “Come Out & Play With Us”!
Doug Chappell

We are currently looking for Coaches, Commissioners, Board Members, and Game Day volunteers for the upcoming Spring sports programs.
|
Please consider volunteering to coach. With spring around the corner, we are in need of coaches across all our sports. It's a great way to learn new skills, share precious memories, and spend quality time with your kids and their team mates.
Coaching youth sports is a rewarding opportunity for you to learn, play, and grow alongside your kids. If you haven't considered stepping up to coach, we encourage you to give it a shot regardless of your skill level. It's all about having fun, making memories, developing new skills, and learning what it means to be a team.

Saturday, January 11th marked our 2nd ‘Help Every Kid Play’ Bowling Tournament, with the specific aim to fund our scholarship program for kids who need financial help to play sports at T&C. The need has never been greater to give all kids a chance to play, regardless of income or ability.
|
It was a fun afternoon of bowling with lots of T&C friends and families coming together to help more kids be able to play sports. We had something for everyone with great food and drink, raffle prizes, and special activities including Beat the Pro, Mario Kart Racing and Cornhole.
We had 80 bowlers (including 24 women and 19 kids) on 21 teams, an increase from our first event. Thank you to everyone who joined us and everyone who made the event such a special and successful fundraiser!
