Richard Carlisle and his wife Kathy farm 1,120 acres in western Sussex County near Bridgeville and Greenwood, Del. Mr. Carlisle has consistently integrated cover crop initiatives, irrigation, nutrient, and pest management systems on his farm. These model conservation efforts improve soil health, water quality and will protect the environment, the lives of Delawareans and the Chesapeake Bay for years to come. Mr. Carlisle serve as a member on the SCD board of supervisors until Dec. 2021.
