Waveny LifeCare Network Expands Telemedicine Service Program to All
Telemedicine is the modern and widely accepted way for you to receive the very best patient-centered health care by remotely connecting to your current, already familiar provider(s).
Waveny's Telemedicine Services Program is now available to you for just $5 a day, and if you live in New Canaan the service is FREE, thanks to ARPA funding from the Town of New Canaan.

Waveny’s Telemedicine Program uses advanced information and communication technologies to:
- Monitor changes in your vital signs and health conditions;
- Save you time and money scheduling and traveling to healthcare appointments;
- Deliver detailed and continuous medical information to your existing, already familiar physician so they can provide you with optimal care;
- Improve safety and connectivity to vital healthcare and in-home resources;
- Manage and increase prevention of chronic conditions;
- Reduce unnecessary hospital admissions or emergency room visits;
- Help with diagnosis, treatment and recovery from long-COVID.

Waveny to Host Community Health Presentation
Waveny is please to present a community health event titled So Many Decisions So Little Time, Empowering You and Your Family - Resources to Smooth the Path in Preparation for the End of Life Journey at the Wilton Public Library on February 9, 2023 at 7pm. Topics include "What, Why, When Hospice?" and "83 Decisions in 72 Hours" plus a question and answer session. We hope you will join us for this important presentation. New Canaan Thrift Shop Partners with Planet New Canaan Swap Shop

The New Canaan Thrift Shop, a member of the Waveny LifeCare Network, is partnering with Planet New Canaan's Swap Shop. The Thrift Shop will receive donations directly from the Swap Shop, for sale at the Thrift Shop. This exciting partnership will help reduce waste in our community, while funding uncompensated care through proceeds of sales from the Thrift Shop. Waveny-VNH is doing its part to help fight flu infections and limit the spread of this sometimes dangerous virus by administering over 700 flu vaccines in our community this flu season. While our schedule of flu clinics has finished, we still offer home bound flu vaccines to those in need. Please call Christine at 203-762-8958 to schedule your vaccine.
