EL POMAR CONVENES LOCAL FUNDERS AND INVESTORS
In December, El Pomar gathered with funders and stakeholders of the Southeast Colorado Springs Initiative which seeks to raise awareness and promote coalition-building in Southeast Colorado Springs, a historically under-resourced area. At the annual Investors Luncheon, a variety of efforts shaping the Southeast community were highlighted: the work of the RISE Coalition, the revitalization of Panorama Park, a community investment trust (to be the second in the nation) and the renewal of the Mission Trace Shopping Center as a community hub. Learn more about this initiative on our blog.
