Happy New Year! As Impact100 DC heads into its second grantmaking year, I couldn't be prouder to lead this organization.
The challenges and crises that have inspired so many of our members to join are still in the forefront in 2022 —but ultimately, it's still joy, hope, and commitment that defines our organization the most.
We are so excited to start this year with an expanded membership and the ability to award $136,000 at the end of our grant cycle in June. In addition to a $100,000 grant to one nonprofit, we will also be awarding $9,000 to each of our other four finalists, in recognition of the extraordinary lengths that nonprofits are going to in these trying times.
Welcome, again, to all of our new members. As we get into a new rhythm together, and begin getting to know each other in Focus Area Committees and other events, I know that your voices will help us soar to new heights and bring our mission to life.
