Happy New Year!

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

We are certainly off and running in 2018! This week I am at the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference in San Francisco to hear more about the latest trends and who is investing where. Also happening this week is the exciting CES Digital Health Summit!

T his year I am looking forward to updating my book, Turning Silver into Gold, as much has changed since its original publication 15 years ago. The updated edition will include case studies from companies who have successfully built and scaled in this market. Like many of my generation, I will be 70 this year and have started to reflect on what I have accomplished thus far in partnership with so many of you over the years. Eager to see what this year brings!

AARP Family Caregiving Summit

"It is our hope that by coming together today to address the needs of America's more than 40 million family caregivers, we will not only create a new vision for a caregiving-friendly society, we will create solutions to make it a reality." - Jo Ann Jenkins, CEO, AARP

We couldn't agree more! The Family Caregiver Summit hosted by AARP in Washington, DC last month offered insights from more than 30 speakers on caregiving topics ranging from technology to public policy and beyond. Outside of the room, more than 100 people joined the Summit throughout the day by a live stream offered on AARP's website. The full recap is available here.
