Dear Friends,

Happy New Year!

The older I get, the quicker each new year seems to circle around. Mathematically I understand why, but to experience something firsthand is unique. I am grateful for every year and every opportunity that unfolds to share food, fellowship, kindness, and compassion.

From reading reports and compiling data I know many in our region are struggling to have basic needs met. And I have seen the reality of struggles firsthand. Many of our neighbors work hard to stretch every dollar and still it isn’t always possible to cover necessities, especially when surprises pop up like a flat tire, sick day, medical issue, or family emergency.

With your support 1,739,000 pounds of food (valued at $3.3 million) was shared in 2024! This vital food was distributed to guests across our region during 38,000 guest visits.

As we move into 2025, I hope that the need will decline due to individuals, seniors, and families feeling more secure. And I hope and trust that together we will ensure all have access to food and fellowship even if the need continues to climb.

Your support makes a difference!

With gratitude and hope,

Amy
