FROM OUR EXECUTIVE

DIRECTOR

Well its 70’ degrees in Mobile, Al. as I write this message. However, this weekend and into next week temperatures will plummet to the low 20’s range with possible wintry effects in part of the SARPC Region. This is living in the “DEEP SOUTH”, and I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else in the world!!

SARPC will host an OPEN HOUSE for newly elected municipal officials in our Region, County and State officials, and others. This event will be held on Friday, January 30th at the SARPC rotunda and offices at 110 Beauregard Street in Mobile.

Also, on March 5-6, 2026 we will have the SARPC ANNUAL MEETING AND STRATEGIC SESSION at The Grand Hotel in Point Clear, Al. This important event will allow elected and appointed officials in our Region to be updated on ALDOT projects, Mobile Airport Authority news, Alabama Port Authority updates, Alabama Senior Services Programs, and Economic Development projects highlighted in our area.

Stay tuned for more exciting news as your SARPC staff continues to provide and administer numerous programs and services in our Region. GOD BLESS AMERICA !!!!
