A FAMILIAR FACE IN A NEW PLACE

You may see a new face in Jessup or hear a familiar voice on the phone.  Richard Johnson, who has worked in our Frederick, MD store for the last 10 years, has joined our Jessup team.  Rich brings a wealth of experience, that ever present smile and a can-do attitude to the main office.  Rich will be supporting his long-time customer friends in the Frederick area as well as the broader, Jessup geography in his new role.  A true utility guy, you might see him on deliveries, in the warehouse or at the counter.  It's great to have Rich's positive attitude on the team!

PROBLEM SOLVED: GLUING PVC IN COLD TEMPS

Solvent cementing PVC pipe and fittings in temperatures below 40 degrees requires special preparation.

In cold weather, solvents work slower to penetrate and soften plastic surfaces. The plastic itself is more resistant to solvent action. You will need to follow the correct procedures and allow additional time for curing.
