In this NCSFA Educational Series Webinar on February 12, 2019 from 11:00am - 12:00pm EST, Steve Saltzgiver of Mercury Associates will provide attendees with an introduction to the benchmarking survey project and the 2018 survey results. Leaning on his extensive career with positions ranging from technician to president in public and private organizations, Steve will share how state and university fleet managers can apply the report’s recommendations to their fleet to drive better performance and outcomes Also presented will be Marc Canton of Mercury Associates. 2019 Workshop Dates Announced
Mark Your Calendars: September 23-26 in Austin, Texas
NCSFA is excited to host the 2019 State Fleet Managers Workshop in Austin, Texas. The conference will take place at the AT&T Hotel and Conference Center located in the heart of Austin, near the campus of the University of Texas-Austin and the state capitol building.

The State Fleet Managers Workshop is the premier educational event for all state and university fleet managers and their staff to receive tailored education and network with peers. Make the Workshop your conference to attend for 2019.

If any of our state and university fleet managers need a letter or supporting documentation from NCSFA to receive travel permission to attend, please notify NCSFA staff.
Join an NCSFA Committee
Participating on a committee or workgroup is a great way to get involved in NCSFA. Being on a committee is a temporary commitment that makes a huge difference in driving forward the organization. As a benefit to your membership corporate members are able to join a committee as well.

Are You Incorporating Innovative Vehicle and Equipment Procurement Practices?
The State of California Department of Transportation is conducting a research project on their pilot initiative to purchase equipment on a Best Value Procurement (BVP) basis. The State of California is particularly interested in learning about public procurement practices involving vehicle and equipment. The State of California will be providing NCSFA with the results of the survey for distribution to members. Individual results will be reported anonymously.

All state and university fleet management organizations are invited to participate in this survey by following this link.
