Marcos Cuevas Lopez is an 8th grader with an important message to share: "If there is something big in life, take an opportunity and give it your best shot!" He is now in his second year of practicing these wise words and growing his leadership skills with Hands4Hope. Read more about how this young leader is learning and growing through his involvement.

MEET MARCOS

Since 2015, the Ryan Christopher Hersh Memorial Scholarship Fund has continued the legacy of a Hands4Hope participant who passed away by giving youth with limited means the opportunity to attend a summer camp in which they will be able to further develop an interest or skill. The youth-led Ryan Christopher Hersh Scholarship Committee, made up of Hands4Hope participants from El Dorado & Sacramento Counties in 7th-12th grades, has the honor of running this scholarship program and distributing funds to awardees.

Applications to join the Ryan Christopher Hersh Scholarship Committee are due by Friday, January 26, 2024.
