Happy New Year!

Thank you for your support in 2022 to bring the magic and joy of running to all. Running has transformative powers...so do you!

Check out the 5 Athlete Stories below for a peek at the profound difference your support makes.

There are so many people with challenges whose lives could be positively transformed from the physical, social, and mental benefits of running and team sport, yet they don't have access to it due to their challenges. Verge is changing that and gives everyone opportunity and a place to succeed, belong, and grow so they can live their best, full lives.

And it's not just about the athletes...it's bigger! While taking a community-based approach to expanding accessibility to running for people in the margins, we are also bringing diverse people together and shaping lives in a positive way for a healthier, happier, more connected society!

Thank you!

Join us in 2023 as we work on growing the organization to support our programs for many years and people to come! We need your help now as much as ever.

Our Amazing Volunteers & Coaches

Thank you!

It takes a lot to support the runners, and we've got an amazing community of folks who come together to do so!

Here's a peek at the human support behind a season.

Hey, Volunteer Alumni!

and HS Seniors...

Stay involved with Verge and each other - Join the Alumni Group!

You choose how much you want to be involved, and we get to follow each other's journeys while helping Verge and all the kids and families who come through the program.

Callie Moody (LHS 2020 / Junior at Dartmouth) has joined the Board as Director of Volunteer Alumni Engagement to get it up and running with your help! "Anyone who is interested in remaining involved in any capacity should let me know. I would be super excited to work with you!" - Callie

The point: Build a community of alumni stewards. Depending on your place in life you can be as involved as you wish and adjust as your life does. Here is the current thinking about ways to be involved:

  • Stay connected with Verge and each other as we journey through life.
  • Reunite annually with each other and the team at a Verge event. Contribute to an annual update.
  • Collaborate and Advocate to help Verge with fundraising and expanding our reach beyond the Verge team community. Facilitate strategic relationships.
  • Mentor current HS student volunteers as they prepare for life after HS by sharing your experience.
  • Share your skills or gain new experience - we may have volunteer, job, or research project opportunities that suit you in the future.
