Happy New Year, and welcome to our first newsletter of 2019! As we begin the new year, I am excited to work on the issues that affect our community. I am always looking for feedback from District 3 residents on new ideas, so if you have any legislation that you would like to explore, please reach out!

Council Updates In the first two weeks of the new year, the County Council has hosted several issue briefings. On Monday, January 7th, the Council heard from various stakeholders and county partners on the topics of Health & Aging and Housing. Additionally, the County Council held its first legislative session of 2019 on Monday, January 7th at 7:00 pm. While the session only lasted about 10 minutes, the Council introduced legislation for the month of January, which you can find detailed below!
