On September 16, 2020, the Anaheim Youth Commission began its fourth term as a governing body representing Anaheim’s youth. Consisting of fourteen youth commissioners between the ages of 14 and 21, the Anaheim Youth Commission has committed itself to serve youth in Anaheim. Although the COVID-19 pandemic has presented many challenges, this year’s Youth Commission has been working diligently on developing a mission statement, branding logo, marketing plan, and community outreach plan.
At the November meeting, the Youth Commission unanimously adopted their very own Youth Commission logo, which was designed entirely by the Commissioners themselves. The logo was a combination of past ideas infused with new ideas from this year’s Commissioners.
The Youth Commission meets virtually the second Wednesday of every month at 4:00 p.m. For more information, please contact Community Services Supervisor, Brian Chwan or call (714) 765-5191.
