BIRDING TOUR
January 8th at 7:00 AM and January 19th at 10:00 AM at Bee Gum Point Preserve - Fred Tuerk Drive
Amateurs and experienced birders are invited to grab a cup of coffee and head to the Land Trust's conservation land for a morning walk. A knowledgeable birder will lead the group on an outing to survey the species located on the 111 acre protected area. The walk will take birders on a 1.5 mile path around mangrove forest, by ponds, and past the Lagoon. The tour is approximately 1 1/2 hours.

31ST ANNUAL FROG LEG FESTIVAL
January 20th through January 23rd at Fellsmere Old School Complex
Fellsmere is the Frog Leg Capital of the World!
Now in its 31st year, the Fellsmere Frog Leg Festival holds 2 Guinness Book World Records for the most frog legs served in the course of one business day and the Largest Frog Leg Festival in the world.
Enjoy frog leg and gator tail dinners.
Get excited on the midway rides.
Have fun discovering local crafters and listening to local bands.

Quail Valley Charities is a 501(c)(3). Since its inception in 2001, Quail Valley Charities has dedicated their funding to selected non-profit organizations and programs in Indian River County, which focuses solely on children and their education.

10TH ANNUAL BARK IN THE PARK
January 8th from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Riverside Park
Bark in the Park is free admission, family fun-fest featuring performances by the world-famous Disconnected K-9 Frisbee dogs, the equally impressive Ultimate Diving Dogs, and Indian River County’s very own amazing K-9 officers and their partners. Dogs will have an opportunity to run the always-popular lure course and there will be food vendors, beer, merchandise booths, and a Kids’ Zone.
Thousands of pet lovers attend Bark in the Park every year and everyone is welcome to bring well-behaved dogs on a (non-retractable) leash. No admission fee is charged but donations and fundraising are encouraged.

DINOSAURS AROUND THE WORLD
November 20, 2021, to May 1, 2022 at McKee Botanical Garden
McKee Botanical Garden presents Dinosaurs Around the World: The Great Outdoors from Saturday, November 20, 2021, through Sunday, May 1, 2022. The Biltmore Hotel
As the creator of Coral Gables, land developer George E. Merrick founded the University of Miami and developed the suburbs with strict building codes to ensure the beautiful surrounding. In 1924, young Merrick joined forces with Biltmore hotel magnate John McEntee Bowman at the height of the Florida land boom to build “a great hotel…which would not only serve as a hostelry to crowds which were thronging to Coral Gables but also would serve as a center of sports and fashion.” Today, the 273 room hotel and resort is known as The Biltmore and is indeed as elegant as the day it opened. The Biltmore’s rich history makes it Coral Gables’ most preeminent historic landmark. Coral Gables is a largely residential, affluent area graced with broad, planted boulevards, golf courses, and country clubs. Stately Mediterranean homes, Banyan trees, and tropical foliage line its quiet streets.
