A Letter From OUR Executive Director,
Michele Prince
Hello OUR HOUSE Community,
Welcome to 2018. For many grievers, January is a poignant time of year. It is a month of new beginnings, resolutions, and reminders of self-care as we are without our loved ones. Former Vice President Joe Biden recently reminded us that we can find hope, even in difficult moments, when he said “the day will come when the memory of the person you lost brings a smile to your lip before a tear to your eye.”
For OUR HOUSE, 2018 marks OUR 25th Anniversary. Here is a snapshot of what to look forward to this year:

  • The Run for Hope on Sunday, April 29
  • The House of Hope Gala on Saturday, October 6
  • This is OUR 10th year offering Camp Erin-LA
  • The Night for Hope returns Fall 2018
  • Group Leader Volunteer Training kicked off with 20 individuals. Our next training will be in April. Apply here today.
As we embark on a new year serving the community, we look forward to keeping you updated on our programs and impact. Thank you for helping us ensure that no one grieves alone. Here's to another 25 years.
